BRIEF BACKGROUND ON US HOSTING VIRTUAL EVENTS THUS FAR:
 
A little background on us hosting virtual trivia events thus far; up until now, we've hosted over 325 private events over the last year plus, including multiple games with several companies already after doing it a first time for them (i.e. we've hosted one company over 10 times already as word had spread amongst other businesses under their umbrella after they had so much fun playing, and in many instances, since we've done so well with one office of a company, we're doing multiple locations of theirs across the country).

YOU SELECT THE ROUNDS YOU WANT US TO USE FOR THE EVENT:
 
Regarding the selection of categories, as we do for all in-person and virtual events, once everything is confirmed, we'd have you select the rounds you want us to use for each of the picture, topical and speed rounds (1 question with a maximum of 30 answers).  In other words, we'd send you approximately 25 options to select from for each of the said three rounds and those are the ones we'd use for the game.  On top of those three rounds, we'd also have a random trivia round which has who, what, where and when type questions with a Jeopardy type bonus wager question at the end.  This way, you get the choose the rounds you'd want us to utilize.

OVERVIEW OF EVENT LOGISTICS:
 
In the meantime, below is some information you can pass on to your colleagues at the appropriate time on how the interactive virtual trivia game would work through Zoom...

HOW DOES THEIR UNIQUE INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL TRIVIA FORMAT WORK?  Well, trivia will be held remotely via Zoom, with the host doing their thing, as are the participants who are playing.  The Q & A for every round via PowerPoint, along with picture clues for the questions, will appear via Zoom as if you saw it in front of you on a TV at one of their weekly bars (they were able to configure their format via Zoom to keep their brand identity).

HOW VIRTUAL TEAMS & BREAKOUT ROOMS ARE FORMED & HOW SCORING WORKS? Virtual teams can play either solo, as a team with colleagues, friends or significant other, etc... communicating via their own text messages, Google Hangouts, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.   The host will provide each team with a Google Forms answer sheet via the Zoom chat feature, which the leader of every team should download in order to submit their answers to the host at the end of each round.  As trivia is transpiring, the host will then score and display the team's accrued scores after each round.  Of course, since they can't see the people who are playing, they're relying on the honor rule of no cheating.

If you elect the breakout room feature, teams would be organized ahead of the event and communicate with each other in their respective rooms.  After the question slides go through twice for each of the first three rounds, every person will be sent to their respective breakout room for approximately five minutes in duration, while it will be three plus minutes for the final round as it is a timed round.  As mentioned in the previous paragraph, the Google Forms answer sheet and selection of a team leader would also be applied the same way when utilizing the breakout rooms.
